About Our School |
Giraffe Cultural Enterprises Co., Ltd. was established in 1986, and Giraffe English
School opened its first children’s language school in 1987. Today there are nearly
400 branch schools in Taiwan, and Giraffe English School is Taiwan's largest chain
brand of English language schools for children. In 2009, Giraffe English School
stepped into China’s English market for young learners, and has successfully set
up and operates more than 15 language schools in 13 cities. Giraffe English School

Job Description |
Giraffe is looking for full-time teachers to teach young learners aged 2 -13. Our
teachers are responsible for planning and teaching lessons, assessing student performance
and progress, and delivering the curriculum with creativity, energy and enthusiasm
to ensure that lessons are fun and effective. Classes are kept small with no more
than twenty students. Teaching schedules average 60-70 hours per month and include
5 or 6 working days per week. The average pay rate is NT$600 per hour for experienced
teachers.

Candidates must be: |
●Native speakers of English |
●A graduate with a full university degree from an accredited institution |
●TEFL qualified or have two years of teaching experience |
●A UK/Irish/US/Canadian/NZ/Australian/South African passport holder |
●Someone who enjoys working with children |
●Willing to commit to a one year contract |
